The designed area is a part of the existing landscaping in front of the entrance to the Holiday Inn hotel.

The design objective was to create a ceremonial area that would solemnly greet its guests, a bright and functional transformation of the flagpole area, as well as the introduction of a certain semantic link between Sokolniki Park and Sokolnicheskaya Square. That is why the project is called "Falcon"!

A striking reference to the landscaping near the Sokolniki metro station is the paving of the road and path network with clinker paving stones. The paving uses two color shades of clinker, laid out in radial patterns, which repeats the recognizable style of laying old Moscow streets. The landscape layout is complemented by radial benches along the contours of the roads, duplicating their bends. Such a layout will look especially advantageous from the windows of the upper floors of the hotel!

Fountains and sculptures have always been the main points of attraction in Sokolniki Park, so the Water Portal fountain was integrated into the center of the composition. And the dry fountain near the flagpoles will create an additional interactive zone for visitors. Thus, the Falcon project is a radical rethinking of the improvement of the territory of the Holiday Inn hotel!
